"Staff had advised the officers they observed Chesnul and Wood not scanning and paying for all of the items in their cart," police reports show. "Chesnul and Wood were stopped, and a check of the receipt versus all of the items in their cart showed that they only paid for a very small amount of the items that they had in their carts."
According to police, the two suspected thieves "were observed putting multiple items in their shopping bags without scanning them and therefore not paying for the items. Both Wood and Chesnul were arrested for the above offense."
