The Patch Deal Hound went on a hunt for your home product needs — and we were impressed with what we found.
The Patch Commerce Team has been watching Amazon in real-time as the site unveils its holiday deals, and we confess, the process can be a bit demoralizing at times as amazing bargains are claimed or expire right before our eyes. So a warning before you read further: Don’t click the links below unless you’re ready to shop with the crazed abandon of a mob of Black Friday shoppers going after a rice cooker at a Georgia WalMart. These deals don’t last.
Today’s challenge was to find some gadgets to help keep our homes tidy and to keep our kitchens functioning with the efficiency of an Amazon.com fulfillment center. We were not disappointed. We found a great deal on the fascinatingly pet-like robot vacuum, the Roomba 595, along with some winning bargains on knives, pots and pans and on a new state-of-the-art espresso maker.
We were feeling pretty good. Then - wow. We found a great deal on an item that is one of our favorite gadgets of all time, one that every parent with a child under five-years-old should be required by law to own: the Black & Decker MAX Lithium Battery Powered Pivot hand vac. With its strange beak-like appearance and lithium-charged motor, this thing slurps air like an asthmatic platypus after wind sprints. But don’t let that disturbing image deter you: it can find a Goldfish crumb in the deepest crevices of a toddler’s car seat and still have enough power to suck up that entire box of Sun-Maid raisins Junior decided to store for the winter inside your sofa frame. A must-have item at a rock-solid price.
