Salmonella Outbreak At La Mex In Morris: Report
The salmonella outbreak likely impacted people who at the Morris restaurant during the first week of September.
MORRIS, IL — A salmonella outbreak at the La Mex restaurant in downtown Morris has left at least eight people sick, according to a story published by Food Safety News. People are being asked to seek medical attention if they feel ill after eating at the La Mex in Morris. It's located in the 100 block of East Jackson Street.
The Morris radio station WCSJ also reported the salmonella exposure time frame is from Aug. 31 and Sept. 7. "At this point, the Grundy County Health Department said that this outbreak does not appear to be directly correlated to operating errors or issues in the establishment, but with the food sold by their suppliers," the radio station reported.
