School Shooting Threat Found in Joliet West Bathroom Stall
Police say no one has been arrested regarding the incident.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet West administration found a “threatening message” Wednesday in a bathroom stall referencing a school shooting.
According to Joliet Township District 204 Director of Community Relations Kristine Schlismann, administration immediately began an investigation and the source of the threat was identified.
“The safety of our students was not jeopardized at any time in relation to this incident,” Schlismann said in a press release.

Joliet Police Chief Brian Benton said the school was not placed on lockdown and no arrests were made in connection to the threat.
Joliet West High School asks that parents talk to their student about the consequences related to making threats, as they are all taken seriously.
