Sexual Abuse In Louis Mall Parking Lot: Joliet Man, 58, Arrested
Joliet police say the crime happened back in January on the property of the Louis Joliet Mall. Now, a 58-year-old resident is in jail.

JOLIET, IL — A 58-year-old Joliet man from the 100 block of Iowa Avenue was taken away in handcuffs Friday night in connection with allegations he sexually abused a 16-year-old girl in January while in the parking lot of the Louis Joliet Mall.
Juan Castellanos remains incarcerated, facing a $25,000 bail on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Back on the afternoon of Feb. 7, Joliet police learned of a possible sexual abuse incident that happened in January.

"Following an investigation into this case, it was believed that Castellanos engaged in sexual conduct with a 16-year-old female in a vehicle in the parking lot of Louis Joliet Mall," Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English announced on Monday morning.
Joliet police believe Castellanos is an acquaintance of the victim’s family.

Castellanos is scheduled to make a court appearance on Tuesday afternoon in Will County Courtroom 202.
