Sexual Assault In Elwood, 10 Crimes Committed By 30-Year-Old Elwood Man: Prosecutors
Will County Judge Derek Ewanic signed this week's warrant authorizing the Elwood Police Department to go and arrest Alec Hill, age 30.

ELWOOD, IL — Will County Judge Derek Ewanic has issued an arrest warrant for 30-year-old Elwood resident Alec Hill, who faces 10 criminal charges from the Will County State's Attorney's Office with the most serious being criminal sexual assault.
According to the Elwood Police Department's criminal complaint, last Sept. 8, Hill committed an act of sexual penetration to a woman in that he placed his fingers into her body by the use of force and for the sexual gratification or arousal of himself or the victim.
Hill is also charged with three crimes of aggravated domestic battery. Prosecutors allege that Hill pulled the same woman's fingers backwards, knocked the woman to the ground and grabbed the woman's hand.

A total of five domestic battery charges accuse the Elwood man of grabbing the woman about her body, pinning her to the ground, pulling her fingers back, sticking his finger into her vagina and knocking her to the ground. The criminal damage to property charge indicates that Hill damaged the woman's cell phone, and the damage to property did not exceed $500.
According to the arrest warrant, Hill lives in the 100 block of West Gardner Street in Elwood. He is white, 6-foot-tall, 175 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes.

Judge Ewanic has ordered Hill to be held without release in the Will County jail before being brought to the Will County Courthouse for a pretrial detention hearing or conditions of release hearing.
As of noon Thursday, the Will County Jail logs did not show that Hill has been captured and taken into custody by the Elwood Police force.
