Sexual Assault On Rowell Avenue: 66-Year-Old Joliet Man Arrested
Joliet police say the incident that led to the felony charges for Rowell Avenue resident Bobby Adams happened June 17.

JOLIET, IL — Bobby Adams, a 65-year-old Joliet man who lives in the apartment units in the 1300 block of Rowell Avenue, has been charged with criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse. Adams is accused of raping a 26-year-old, according to Joliet police reports.
Adams was booked into the Will County Jail on Thursday.
Back on June 20, the Joliet Police Department was notified of an incident that had taken place in an apartment in the 1300 block of Rowell Avenue on June 17.

It was determined that Adams engaged in a sexual act with a 26-year-old female victim without her consent, according to Joliet police reports.
At 1 p.m. on Thursday, Adams met with Detectives at the Joliet Police Department, where he was placed into custody without incident, according to police spokesman Dwayne English.
