Sherman Street Cocaine Dealer Arrested By MANS: Prosecutors
Joliet resident Daireonte Oshea Lesley remains in the Will County Jail facing a $175,000 bail following last week's arrest.

JOLIET, IL — A 26-year-old Joliet resident from the 500 block of Sherman Street remains in the Will County Jail facing a $175,000 bail after Joliet's Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad had him arrested on eight felony charges last Thursday.
Will County prosecutors have charged Daireonte Oshea Lesley with two counts of armed violence, four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of unlawful possession of a machine gun by a felon and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
According to the criminal complaint, Lesley delivered between 100 and 400 grams of cocaine on Oct. 21, 15 to 100 grams of cocaine Oct. 13 as well as 15 to 100 grams of cocaine on both Sept. 8 and Sept. 1.

Prosecutors say that while Lesley was dealing his cocaine, the convicted felon from Joliet had a Ruger semi-automatic pistol in his possession.
Lesley was convicted back in 2013 of reckless discharge of a gun, in Will County, court records show.

As of Tuesday, Lesley remained in the Will County Jail unable to post 10 percent of his bail.
