JOLIET, IL —A Shih Tzu was stolen from Furry Babies in the Louis Joliet Mall Wednesday evening.

According to a Facebook post from the business, a family in the playroom distracted the staff while a Hispanic man and woman stole the puppy from her crib. He allegedly placed her under his coat and walked out the door.

The Joliet Police Department has been contacted. If you have any information call either the police at 815-724-3100 or Furry Babies at 815-577-9800.
