Shorewood Man Remains Jailed After 4th DUI Offense

The 41-year-old Shorewood man was pulled over around 12:35 a.m. back on June 22.

JOLIET, IL - Three prior drunken driving convictions apparently did not stop Adam A. Crozier from driving under the influence once again, court documents show. In late June, the 41-year-old Shorewood man, who lives in the 100 block of Turtle, was driving a Honda Civic, without a valid driver's license, when the Shorewood Police Department pulled him over around 12:35 a.m. along Route 52. That episode marked Crozier's fourth DUI, court documents show. As a result of his latest arrest, Crozier has been charged in Will County Circuit Court with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence. Both crimes are felonies.

Court documents show Crozier's prior DUI citations date back to Aug. 21 1994 in Galena's Jo Daviess County, Dec. 3, 2004, here in Will County; and June 26, 2008, again in Will County.

Because of his fourth arrest involving a DUI, Crozier's bond was set at $50,000. However, Crozier remains in the Will County Adult Detention Center, unable to post 10 percent of his bail in order to go free, pending trial. His next court appearance is set for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 9.
