Shorewood Man Threatens To Kill Joliet Mayor D'Arcy: Complaint
Joliet police detective Pat Schumacher submitted the criminal complaint against the Shorewood man and bail has been set at $75,000.

JOLIET, IL — A 35-year-old Shorewood man has been charged with the felony crime of threatening a public official in connection with allegations of violence targeting Joliet's new mayor, Terry D'Arcy.
According to the criminal complaint, Quinton Pickett left a voicemail on the phone of the Country Club Hills Police Department on August 5, and his message was a threat to kill Joliet Mayor Terry D'Arcy, according to Will County prosecutors.
The complaint noted that "said threat would place Mayor D'Arcy in reasonable apprehension of immediate or future bodily harm.,"

Joliet police detective Pat Schumacher submitted the criminal complaint, and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Pickett. Shorewood police informed Joliet Patch that Pickett has been homeless since around March and does not live at the address listed on the arrest warrant.
Will County Judge Art Smigielski has set bail for Pickett at $75,000.

As of Monday, Pickett had not been taken into custody by Joliet police. The warrant for Pickett's arrest states he does not have a place of employment.
