Shots Fired In Crest Hill: Gunman Gets Away This Time

Sunday night's parking lot shooting in Crest Hill took place near the Weber Tobacco & Vape store around 9:25 p.m. Nobody was shot.

CREST HILL, IL — Someone fired a gun during a parking lot fist fight taking place Sunday night in Crest Hill near the Weber Tobacco & Vape store, according to authorities. The incident happened around 9:25 p.m. in the 16100 block of Weber Road. Nobody was shot during the violence, according to Crest Hill police.

The people involved in the shooting drove away before police cars got to the strip mall.

"We are looking for any witnesses, information or video that may exist from the incident," Crest Hill police announced. People can call Detective Joel Steen at 815-741-5115 with any information about the crime.
