Shots Fired on Joliet's Morgan Street

Police are investigating a Monday night gun attack on Morgan Street.

Police sent to the scene of the shooting on Morgan near Wheeler Avenue about 8:30 p.m. found shell casings on the ground but little else.

A witness reportedly told officers of seeing shots fired from a burgundy car toward a red or orange vehicle that may have been a Camaro.

Both cars sped west on Morgan and off into the night, the witness reportedly told police.
