Silver Cross Senior Advantage Hosts Health Fair Nov. 29
Free health screenings, Medicare Advantage plan information, flu shots and more.

Silver Cross Senior Advantage will hold a Senior Health Fair on Tuesday, November 29 from 7 to 11 a.m. in the Silver Cross Hospital Conference Center, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox. Complimentary valet parking available.
Maggie DelReal, Senior Vice President of United Healthcare, will present a free lecture –Medicare Made Clear, at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Attendees can also talk with representatives from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, and United Healthcare 2017 Medicare Advantage plans throughout the event. A sales person will be present with information and applications.

Walgreens will offer flu immunizations (insurance will be billed). In addition, attendees can receive information about stroke from the Silver Cross Neuroscience Institute; emergency care and urgent care; cancer prevention and care; diabetes from the Silver Cross Diabetes Center ; robotic surgery from the Midwest Institute of Robotic Surgery at Silver Cross Hospital; sleep disorders by the Silver Cross Sleep Disorders Center; Lifeline Medical Alert Program; volunteering; and the Childerguild Gift Shop and Encore (Resale) Shop. Participants can also talk with a pharmacist regarding Part D insurance coverage as well as Dr. Farooq Hussain, geriatrician on staff at Silver Cross Hospital.
