Sleeping With Sirens Visits Jitters Coffee House
More than 3 million Facebook fans follow Sleeping With Sirens. The band has a sold out Friday night show at downtown Joliet's Forge.

JOLIET, IL — During Friday's lunch hour, two famous alternative rock musicians from Sleeping With Sirens who are performing in front of a sold-out crowd at downtown Joliet's Forge at 7 p.m. walked into Jitters Coffee House in downtown Joliet.
Joliet Patch immediately recognized them - as did several other customers. Drummer Matty Best and guitar player Nick Martin ordered coffees and then posed for photos with several of the restaurant's customers. Sleeping With Sirens has more than 3 million Facebook Likes and 3 million Facebook Followers and 1.5 million followers on Twitter.
Even though Friday night's concert at The Forge does not start until 7 p.m., fans were already lining up along Cass Street sidewalk over the noon hour, staking out their spot near the entrance door. Patch interviewed several of the Sleeping with Sirens hard-core fans who said they were from Florida, Indianapolis, the Wisconsin Dells and Chicago.

Michele Liden was part of a group of six who traveled to downtown Joliet from Rochelle for Friday night's Forge concert.
She was thrilled to spot Nick Martin inside Jitters and she was able to get a photo with him.

Friday marks the second stop of Sleeping With Sirens' 21-city North America tour which is called The Medicine Tour. The band just played in Lincoln, Nebraska.
