Slovenian Grape Harvest Festival - Sunday Oct. 2nd
Sunday, Oct. 2nd from 1pm to 8pm at Haunted Trails Picnic Grounds

On Sunday, October 2nd, the Joliet Area Historical Museum will be hosting the Slovenian Grape Harvest Festival from 1-8pm at Rivals Park (Haunted Trails) Picnic Grounds.
Before the festival, there will be a Polka Mass starting at noon at the St. Joseph Grotto on Raynor Ave. After the mass please join us at Rivals (Haunted Trails) for a day of great polka music, dancing, beer, wine and food that includes Smokies and Potica!
Then step across the street to see the Planinsek Slovenian Market Museum at 1314 Elizabeth St. The museum will serve to highlight the experiences of immigrants to Joliet. The project is being generously endowed by Ken and Irene (nee Planinsek) Odorizzi. Tours will be available.
