Small Cakes Anniversary: Free Gifts, Free Cupcakes, Raffle Prizes

JOLIET, IL — Small Cakes of Joliet is throwing a big celebration event Saturday celebrating its one-year anniversary of business at 2410 W. Jefferson Street. Smallcake is located in the strip mall in front of the Walmart store.

"When we first opened our doors one year ago, we made a promise that we would give back to the community, and we did," remarked owner Brandi Taylor of Small Cakes of Joliet. "Smallcakes of Joliet has contributed our product, services and funding to support local shelters and diverse groups and organizations in need throughout Joliet."

On Saturday, Smallcakes will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The first 20 customers get free giveaways; all customers will get a free birthday-flavored cupcake with any purchase while supplies last. Third, everyone will get a raffle ticket, and raffle prizes will be given away every hour including ones for Al's Steakhouse, Town & Country Bowling Lanes, Wingstop, Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage, Scene 75, Bowlero Romeoville and more.

Taylor said she cannot say enough about her Smallcakes of Joliet staff.

"They are a truly wonderful group of employees who take pride in their work and strive to give our customers an extraordinary experience," Taylor told Joliet Patch.

As for the past year's customers at Smallcakes, Taylor remarked: "Thank you for embracing and welcoming us into this community. This year has been nothing short of amazing. We are locally owned and Joliet proud."

Taylor urges everyone in the Joliet area to stop by Saturday for her one-year anniversary.

"I am immensely grateful for this platform," Taylor wrote Joliet Patch's editor. "Smallcakes of Joliet is more than just cupcakes."

Nowadays, Smallcakes of Joliet is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Customers canalso place orders online or call ahead at 815-714-2370.
