Joliet Man Steals 2 Liquor Bottles, Kicks Joliet Cop: JPD
While Kyle Baker, 30, was being processed, he continued to be uncooperative by pulling away from the officers, Joliet police said.

JOLIET — A 30-year-old Joliet man named Kyle Baker now finds himself facing criminal charges of aggravated battery to a police officer, two counts of resisting arrest and one count of felony theft in connection with an incident on Saturday afternoon.
Baker was later released from custody after getting his notice to appear in Will County court.
According to Joliet police Detective Sgt. Tizoc Landeros, at about 1 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Tonti Drive for someone checking for unlocked vehicle doors in the parking lots.

A man identified as Kyle A. Baker. Baker was also seen entering a nearby liquor store, Landeros said.
As officers arrived in the area, they checked the liquor store’s video surveillance recordings. Landeros said officers saw on the video Baker exiting the liquor store after stealing two bottles of liquor.

According to police, Baker was later spotted on Caton Farm Road near the Joliet Fire Station at Essington Road.
Officers stopped and detained Baker for the theft from the liquor store. Baker began to tense up his body and kicked the officers, police said Baker had to be taken to the ground where, once again, officials said, he kicked the officers.
While Baker was being processed, he continued to be uncooperative by pulling away from the officers. Baker was ultimately processed and released on a notice to appear, Landeros said.
