University Of St. Francis Brown Science Hall Dedication Nears
The new science building's ceremony and dedication will take place at 3 p.m. Feb. 8.

JOLIET, IL - The University of St. Francis has anticipated the official unveiling of its newest gem on campus and that day is almost here. On Feb. 8, a month from today, the University of St. Francis will hold a dedication of the new Brown Science Hall. That event will begin at 3 p.m. with public tours. The dedication ceremony will occur in the new science hall's Banks-Bellah Auditorium, according to university officials.
"The LaVerne & Dorothy Brown Science Hall will allow present science instruction to be segmented into three academic clusters: microbiology, genetics and molecular biology on the first floor; human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics on the second floor; and chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry on the third floor," the University of St. Francis proclaims on its website.

- Multipurpose lecture hall
- Nine teaching laboratories
- Four student/faculty research labs
- 14 faculty offices
- A tutoring room

- Two meeting rooms
- Second floor open sir patio
According USF, this school year has a total of enrollment of 4,166 students.

Of that total, the on-campus enrollment is 1,713 and the off-campus enrollment is 2,453. The off-campus enrollment consists of 2,219 graduate students and 234 undergraduate students.
