ST. MARY NATIVITY AND HOLY CROSS PARISHES INVITES YOU TO: A DAY OF PRAYER FOR OUR NATION
Saint Mary Nativity and Holy Cross Parishes are committed to faithful citizenship. For that reason, the two parishes will have an all day prayer vigil at Saint Mary Nativity Church (706 North Broadway Street/Joliet, Illinois 60435) on Election Day, November 8, 2016. Starting at 6:00 a.m. and ending at 9:00 p.m. after having prayerfully and thoughtfully prepared their consciences to vote, different people will be praying for the best outcome from our elections and for our country after the elections.
After a prayer service to start the day, pray-ers will say the Patriotic Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and the Litany of Mary throughout the day. The day will conclude with the hymn “Holy God We Praise Thy Name.”
