Star Inn Sexual Abuse: Girl, 15, Was Victimized, Joliet Police Say

Joliet police showed up at the Star Inn Plaza, 2219 1/2 West Jefferson Street, and arrested Joliet's Antonio Williams, age 28.

JOLIET, IL — A 28-year-old Joliet man who lives at 2219 1/2 W. Jefferson St., the Star Inn, is now in the Will County Jail after Joliet police say Antonio Williams sexually abused a 15-year-old at the motel where he lives. The incident happened around 8 p.m. Friday.

Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English informed Patch that the following events led to Williams' arrest on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse:

  • After learning that an underage girl might be the victim of sexual abuse, officers determined that Williams had sexual conduct with a 15-year-old female girl in a guest room at the motel.
  • Police believe the girl and Williams went to Williams’ guest room after meeting at a store in the area.
  • Officers made contact with Williams at the motel, and he was placed into custody without incident.

Will County Jail records indicate that Williams' bail is now at $53,000. Williams also has a temporary hold for his arrest from authorities in Stephenson County, jail records indicate.
