Steelmen Are ABC7's 'Friday Flyover' Favorite
Joliet Central will be presented with its award at 6:30 a.m. Friday.

After a Sept. 19 visit from “Chopper 7” as part of the channel’s Friday Flyover feature, the Steelmen will again appear live on ABC7.
Joliet Central was voted this season’s Friday Flyover favorite, Joliet Township High School District announced late Thursday.

The school will be presented with its Friday Flyover Awards at 6:30 a.m. Friday.
“All JCHS students and staff who would like to show their school spirit live on ABC7 should report to the Central Atrium at 5:30 a.m. tomorrow 11/7,” JTHS said in a post on Facebook.

The Steelmen continue a tradition set last year by Joliet West’s Tigers, who won the 2013 Friday Flyover title.
