Steelmen Varsity Cheerleaders place first at Plainfield South

On January 13, 2019, the Joliet Central Varsity Cheerleaders placed first out of four teams at the Plainfield South High School Invitational

On January 13, 2019, the Joliet Central High School Varsity Cheerleaders placed first out of four teams at the Plainfield South High School Invitational. The co-ed team is coached by Jessica Reeder, Head Coach, and Danielle Corcoran, Assistant Coach.

Head Coach Jessica Reeder said, “We are proud of their continued success, and the team is understanding that the hard work is worth it. They are excited to compete next at Joliet West High School for the SPC Cheer Conference and then try to qualify for state at the IHSA Cheer Sectionals.”

The Southwest Prairie Conference will take place at Joliet West High School on January 19, and the IHSA Sectionals will take place at Mahomet Seymour High School on January 26. Go, Steelmen!
