Stickup Men Hit Joliet Subway
The bandits are believed to be responsible for two other fast food restaurant robberies.
Two stickup men knocked over the Subway restaurant on West Jefferson Street Tuesday morning.
The bandits struck shortly before 9 a.m. One of the men pulled up his coat to show the butt of a handgun before ordering workers to “Give me the money.”
The workers surrendered cash but the crooks are believed to have stolen less than $200, police said.

The men took off through the store’s back door and were last seen walking along Emery Street.
Police believe the men were involved in two other recent fast food restaurant robberies, one at the Taco Bell on South Larkin Avenue and the other at the Burrito Loco on East Cass Street.
