Stolen Gun Found In Werner Trucking Semi: Joliet Police
Denarius Worthy, 23, of Louisiana, put up a struggle with Joliet police officers trying to detain him at Werner Trucking, police noted.

JOLIET, IL — A 23-year-old Baton Rouge, Louisiana truck driver is now in the Will County Jail after Joliet police found him with a stolen gun, according to arrest reports.
Denarius Worthy was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen gun and resisting a peace officer.
The incident leading to Worthy's arrest happened around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Joliet at the Werner Trucking, 1738 Terminal Court, at CenterPoint Intermodal Center.

"Officers learned that while service personnel were providing maintenance to Worthy’s semi-truck, a loaded 9 mm handgun was located in the cab of the truck," police spokesman Dwayne English announced.
The handgun had been previously reported stolen as well.

Joliet police recovered the gun as Worthy put up a struggle with the officers at the time of his arrest, English noted.
Worthy remained incarcerated on Friday, unable to post 10 percent of his $10,000 bail, jail logs show.
