JOLIET, IL — Take a trip into Joliet’s industrial past during the “Joliet Iron Works Tour” scheduled for 9-11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18.
The 1.5-mile guided tour takes place on paved paths at the Forest Preserve District of Will County’s Joliet Iron Works Historic Site, located on Columbia Street, east of Scott Street. View the ruins of this former iron and steel production site and hear stories of the people who worked there.
