Taste of Joliet Returns Friday

Three-day event features headliner Sammy Hagar, Saturday country music lineup and more.

The Taste of Joliet will return to Joliet Memorial Stadium June 27, 28 and 29, featuring plenty of good eats, live music and more.

This year's Taste will feature more than 25 food vendors, a carnival and a Kid Zone with inflatables and more for the little ones. A live remote for Radio Disney is also scheduled for Sunday morning.

Fans can avoid lines by buying tickets in advance on the Taste of Joliet website.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $35 for the reserved front section. Admission is free for kids age 12 and under accompanied by an adult, and $5 for seniors age 62 and older.

Carnival Mega Passes are also on sale for $50, good for unlimited rides all three days of the Taste. You can get Mega Passes online or at the front desk at Inwood Athletic Club, 3000 W. Jefferson St.

This year's Taste of Joliet musical acts include Sammy Hagar (Friday, June 27), a country music lineup (Saturday, June 28) and Beatles tribute band American English (Sunday, June 29).

A meet and greet with Disney star Olivia Holt is set for 11 a.m. Sunday in the Radio Disney Live booth. Only one wristband will be distributed per person while supplies last. Guests must be present to receive a wristband.
