JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department arrested a familiar face, Thomas Love, of Joliet's infamous Love brothers, this time for a home invasion that involved violent acts upon a 22-year-old pregnant woman and a 60-year-old man who tried to help her, according to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English.

According to the agency's latest press release related to the Love brothers, at 11:14 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to an apartment in the Joliet Housing Authority building located at 401 North Bluff Street for an unwanted man. He said that the officers learned that 39-year-old Thomas Love had allegedly forced entry into his spouse’s apartment after being informed he was not welcome.

Once inside the apartment, Love allegedly pushed his 22-year- old pregnant spouse to the ground and strangled her, English revealed. Joliet police noted that Love then attacked a 60-year-old man inside the apartment, striking him multiple times.
