Trio of Women Barge Into Fourth Woman's Joliet Home And Rough Her Up: Cops

One of the women remains at large, police said.

Three women forced their way into a South Joliet Street house Sunday night and attacked a fourth woman while her three children looked on, police said.

Two of the three women were apprehended a short time later while driving near the corner of Joliet and McDonough streets. The two women — Sherita Edwards, 28, and Tanaye Tucker, 34 — were jailed on charges of home invasion. The third woman, a 48-year-old, remains at large.

Edwards, Tucker and the third woman barged into the home on South Joliet Street, police said, and Edwards grabbed a 28-year-old resident and punched her in the face.
