Trouble At Best Western Hotel In Joliet Lands 37-Year-Old Man In Will County Jail: Police

JOLIET, IL —After spending the past three days in the Will County Adult Detention Facility, 37-year-old Joliet resident Nicholas Quas walked out of the jail, regaining his freedom on Monday just around supper time.

Joliet police had arrested Quas on Saturday night at the Best Western Joliet, 4380 Enterprise Drive, in connection with allegations that he violently attacked a woman. The Best Western is located along the southeast frontage overlooking Interstate 55 near Jefferson Street.

According to police spokesman Dwayne English, at 9:27 p.m., officers responded to Best Western Joliet for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers learned that during a disturbance in a guest room, Quas allegedly
pushed a woman to the ground. Quas was placed into custody without incident.

Quas was processed at the Joliet Police Department for domestic battery and taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility, according to the arrest report.
