Troy To Offer Free Preschool Developmental Screenings

Parents may register now for January screenings

Troy Community School District 30-C will offer free developmental screenings this month.

When: The morning of January 17. Time based on appointment.

Where: Troy Cronin Elementary School, 210 E. Black Road, Shorewood

The Troy Preschool Program invites families with children who will be 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2020 to attend this free screening event. The program is currently scheduling screening appointments for children ages 3 and up who are not yet kindergarten eligible for the 2020-2021 school year. Screening is the first step to enrollment into the preschool program.

The Troy Preschool Program is an inclusive preschool community for residents of the Troy 30-C School District, offering a full continuum of services for children who are typically developing, as well as those who have identified disabilities. The program uses a research-based, play-based curriculum and is aligned to Troy 30-C's core values.

The screenings are also available for families with children birth to 3 years old. No appointment is necessary for these screenings.
