Tuesday Marks Henning Funeral Visitation
Twin sisters Addison and Makayla Henning, 5, were fatally shot by their mother inside the home on Reed Street.

JOLIET, IL - A funeral visitation will take place on Tuesday for Makayla Henning, her twin sister Addison as well as their mother, Celisa (Lundborg) Henning, 41. Authorities said Celisa Henning murdered her kids before taking her own life. Her two kindergarten students at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Joliet were fatally shot in the head on Monday inside their home on Reed Street. Joliet's Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road will have a visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and the funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
Also, Joliet news radio station WJOL reported St. Paul Catholic School is tentatively planning to have a balloon launch in October to honor the twin girls. Makayla and Addison would have turned 6 in October.
On Wednesday, Joliet Deputy Police Chief Al Roechner told Joliet Patch that a suicide note was left behind and found inside the Henning home. Celisa Henning decided to kill her kids while her husband had gone to work. However, police are not going to divulge the contents of the letter, Roechner said.

"We're not going to be commenting out of respect for the dad and the grandparents," Roechner said. "There's no reason to drag the family through the mud."
