Walgreens Pharmacist Attacked After Man Visits Wrong Store: JPD
Officers say that Steven Davis, 37, became angry after being told he had come to the wrong Walgreens in Joliet to pick up a prescription.

JOLIET, IL — A 37-year-old resident of Streator was booked into the Will County Jail after Joliet police say Steven Davis became violent inside the Walgreens store at 2101 W. Jefferson St. Davis grabbed a plexiglass stand and threw it at one of the pharmacists, hitting them in the chest, according to arrest reports.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday and Davis was captured and arrested around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday. He's charged with aggravated battery.

Officers learned that a customer in the Walgreens had become irate and threw a plexiglass stand at a male pharmacist, striking him in the chest.
The suspect then ran out of the store before officers arrived.

Then, around 1:15 a.m. Joliet police spotted Davis standing near the intersection of West Jefferson Street and Larkin Avenue, and he was taken into custody without incident after he was identified as the suspect in this matter.
