Walmart Route 59 Burglar Faces Felonies: Joliet Police

JOLIET, IL — A 48-year-old Joliet man who lives in the 600 block of Abe Street is now being charged with two felonies in connection with criminal activity Walmart store on Route 59. Joliet police filed a new criminal complaint against Marvin Massey last week, charging him with burglary and theft.

Massey has remained incarcerated since March 23 when Shorewood officers arrested him. Massey's criminal complaint states that on March 23 he was "without authority when he knowingly remained within a building or any part of Walmart with intent to commit a theft."

Massey's bail for the Walmart crime was set at $80,000. However, his total bail now stands at $130,000. He was arrested last year by the Will County Sheriff's Office on several counts of theft and domestic battery, cases that are still pending.
