Washington Street Bridge Reopens for Vehicle Traffic

The reconstruction of the Washington Street Bridge over Spring Creek, located between Miller Avenue and Wilson Avenue, has been substantially completed and the bridge has reopened to vehicular traffic, according to a release from the City of Joliet.

Work continues on the public sidewalk and landscaping portions of the project. It is expected that the pedestrian crossings will reopen in the Spring of 2016.
