'We Were Starting To Get Ready For The New Member Of Our Family'

ROCKDALE, IL —The growing family living in the apartment house at 124 Meadow Ave. in Rockdale is seeking help trying to recover from Sunday morning's blaze that destroyed their place of residence.
The GoFundMe, called "Anything Helps House Fire," is trying to raise $5,000. It was established by Julianna Rodriguez, whose family suffered the loss.
According to Rodriguez, around 7:30 a.m. she and her family were awoken by their Rockdale neighbors notifying them their apartment building was on fire.

"We lived downstairs and even though the fire didn't go downstairs there was a lot of water & smoke damage & we can no longer live there," the GoFundMe announced. "I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant with a boy and due in December. We recently purchased a van about a week or 2 ago for our growing family and the side got completely burnt and has to be replaced and my dads truck also got burnt a little and has some parts we need to replace."
Rodriguez wants everyone to know that she is created the GoFundMe to help us pay to replace some stuff and possibly get a new van, and "to also find a new place to live since we need more room now."

Rodriguez said they have three children, twin boys ages 5, a girl who is 6 plus three pets: two cats and a German Shepherd dog.
