Can Super China Buffet In Joliet Sell At This Price?
Super China Buffet is on Joliet's West Jefferson Street next to Rax Roast Beef. It's been in business for more than 20 years.

JOLIET, IL — If you are willing to spend $635,000, you can become the new owner of Joliet's Super China Buffet property at 2138 West Jefferson St. The Super China Buffet is near the Marycrest Plaza and next door to the Rax Restaurant.
The Super China Buffet is now listed on several real estate websites for commercial business properties, including LoopNet. The restaurant building is 5,400 square feet.
Nick Ferro and Keith Conroy of Coldwell Banker Commercial are trying to sell the property.

"Located in the heart of Joliet's west side commercial district. Great location for investor or user. Current long term tenant is month to month," the listing on LoopNet reads.

In August 2020, Joliet Patch reported that the long-time Joliet restaurant was back in business after taking five months off amid the new coronavirus outbreak across Illinois.
Since 1997, Super China Buffet has been on Joliet's West Jefferson Street next to the Rax Roast Beef, according to owner Steve Zheng. The buffet at the long-time Joliet restaurant includes American, Chinese and Mexican cuisine, Zheng told Patch.
"We were always going to reopen," Zheng told Joliet Patch's editor. "Yesterday we had a lot of people."
Super China Buffet is carryout or dine-in. It does not do deliveries.
The restaurant's business card proclaims, "The Best Buffet in City. We are serving 100 percent fresh fruit smoothies!"
