Will County: 10 More Coronavirus Deaths
Will County's Health Department had reported zero coronavirus deaths during the previous two days.

JOLIET, IL — For the first time this week, Will County's Health Department is reporting that local residents have died from the new coronavirus. On Tuesday afternoon, county health department spokesman Steve Brandy announced 10 more county residents have died from the illness.
The 10 additional deaths brings Will County's total to 212.

During the previous two days, Brandy indicated Will County had no coronavirus deaths. The latest deaths involved a woman in her 60s, two men in their 70s, two women in their 70s, a man in his 80s, three women in their 80s and a woman in her 90s.
Brandy also reported Will County's total number of coronavirus cases climbed by 150 to 3,951.

So far, between 50 percent and 55 percent of all Will County coronavirus deaths involve people who were staying at a local nursing home facility, Brandy said.
