Will County Coronavirus Deaths Reach 252

Four more people from Will County have died from the new coronavirus, Will County Health officials announced Thursday.

JOLIET, IL — Four more senior citizens have died of the new coronavirus, bringing Will County's total number of deaths to 252, county officials announced Thursday. The latest deaths involved two men in their 70s and two women in their 80s.

Additionally, the county reported 94 new cases, bringing Will County's total number to 4,811 since the pandemic began in March. On Wednesday, Will County also reported four deaths: a woman in her 60s and three women in their 90s.

The county's number of cases on Wednesday had increased by 141 from the day before.

  • 34 women in 90s
  • 2 women more than 100 years old
