Will County Coronavirus Deaths Reach 264

Will County's total number of new coronavirus cases has been in decline in recent days.

JOLIET, IL — The Will County Health Department announced Wednesday that five more people have died from the new coronavirus. The latest deaths raise Will County's number of deaths to 264. The five new deaths included a woman in her 50s, a man in his 60s, a woman in her 70s, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 80s.

Overall, Will County's total number of cases increased by 46 on Wednesday, putting the coronavirus illness total at 5,301 in Will County.

On Tuesday, May 26, the county health department announced that four people had died since Friday, May 22 and those deaths included a man in his 50s, a man in his 60s, a woman in her 70s and a woman in her 80s.
