Will County Jail: New Year's Day Lockups

The new inmates are from Joliet, Shorewood, Plainfield, Bolingbrook and Lockport.

JOLIET, IL — The New Year is here and that means there are several new prisoners who have been taken into the custody of the Will County Sheriff since New Year's Eve, Dec. 31. The following are some of the new inmates being lodged inside the Will County Adult Detention Facility in Joliet's downtown.

Edward Samaan, 26, West Mark, Naperville, arrested by Will County Sheriff's Office on charges of aggravated assault/wearing hood/robe.

Justin Squires, 23, Cedar Lakes Court, Plainfield mailing address, arrested by Illinois State Police District 5 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI/BAC 0.08, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis 10 to 30 grams.

Robert Neumann, 31, East Street, Lockport, arrested by Lockport Police on domestic battery charges.

Fredy Lopez-Lopez, 30, Woodcreek Drive apartment units, Bolingbrook, arrested by Bolingbrook Police on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI/BAC 0.08, driving on a revoked or suspended license, plus additional charges of DUI and DUI/BAC 0.08 from July 7.

Deirde Kemp, 24, 300 block of North Broadway Street apartment units, Joliet, arrested by Will County Sheriff's Office on charges of domestic battery.

Courtney Lamar Jones, 41, 1300 block of Ashford Lane, Joliet, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Camila Gonzalez-Herrera, 23, Grandview Avenue, Lockport, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office on two charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer, three counts of resisting the arrest and one charge of retail theft.

Nicholas Sarich, 28, Westwood Drive, Shorewood, arrested by Shorewood Police on a bench warrant on charges from Oct. 11 of criminal trespass to a residence when the person was present and a second charge of violating an order of protection from Dec. 18.
