JOLIET, IL — The following people are spending their final days of 2019 in the Will County Jail. Here's a look at some of the new inmates and why they're being charged with criminal activity.

Jennifer Ramos, 37, Scarlett Oak Drive, Plainfield mailing address, arrested by Will County Sheriff's Office on 13 criminal charges: nine forgery charges and four counts of theft. The offenses occurred in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, jail logs reflect.

Robert Redman, 22, East Second Avenue, New Lenox, arrested by New Lenox Police on two charges of aggravated battery to someone who is pregnant or handicapped, two counts of domestic battery and two charges of criminal property damage/$500 to $10,000.

Anthony M. Nelson, 29, Tinley Park, arrested by Mokena Police on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, possession of 100 to 500 grams of marijuana and improper traffic lane usage.

Nathan McAvoy, 18, South Eastern Avenue, Manhattan, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of domestic battery.
