Judge's Carjacker Caught: ABC 7
The Will County Judge was carjacked earlier this month after attending a legal banquet in Chicago's Greektown.

During the early morning hours of June 8, Will County Circuit Judge Dave Carlson was roughed up during a carjacking that occurred around 2 a.m. The judge had visited a Walgreens in the 100 block of South Halsted Street after visiting Chicago's Greektown that night for a Hellenic Bar Association Event. This week, a 19-year-old Chicago man, already a convicted felon, was charged with Judge Carlson's carjacking, ABC News 7 reports.
The Chicago TV station reported that Jamari Conner, who lives in the 7500 block of South Eggleston Avenue, has been charged aggravated vehicular hijacking with a gun.
Conner is also a known gang member, the station reported. It also turns out that Conner has been in Chicago police custody since June 10; he was picked up for some other crimes on South Vincennes Avenue, the station reported.
