Will County Squad Car Catches Fire: Report
The police car was in a parking lot off Theodore Street.
JOLIET, IL - The Will County Sheriff's Department lost one of its squad cars this week after it caught on fire. A deputy had stopped to visit a building on Theodore Street, according to a Joliet Herald-News article. Nobody was hurt, but the car erupted into flames, prompting firefighters to respond to the scene to put the fire out, the paper reported.
The incident happened just before dinner on Tuesday.
