Will County's New Associate Judge Has Ties To Joliet, Orland Park

Will County's newest associate judge fills an additional position provided as a result of the Census.

JOLIET, IL — The Illinois Supreme Court announced last week that Will County's Circuit Court judges voted to appoint attorney Donald DeWilkins as a new associate judge for Will County.

The new position was created as a result of Will County's growth.

According to the supreme court, DeWilkins received his undergraduate degree in 1987 from Governors State University in University Park and his Juris Doctor in 1990 from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

DeWilkins is currently affiliated with the Law Offices of Donald W. DeWilkins in Orland Park and Joliet, Illinois.

Will County will be moving into its new 10-story courthouse across the street from the current 1969-era courthouse, during the first week of November.
