What: The Will-Grundy Medical
Clinic’s 14th Annual Golf Outing will be held on Friday, June 27th,
2014 at The Links at Carillon. Plan to
join us for a Shotgun Start at 12:30, and Dinner, Cocktails and Entertainment to follow. Cost is $125 and includes
golf and dinner (dinner only is $40). Sponsorships are also available.

Cost: $125 includes 18 holes of
golf with cart, lunch on course, cocktail hour and dinner, $40 for dinner only
Why: The Clinic’s doctors,
nurses, dentists, hygienists and pharmacists all VOLUNTEER their services to
provide medical and dental care to those in Will and Grundy counties who are
uninsured or underinsured. “Even as the Affordable Care Act is implemented, we are seeing many individuals who find the
insurance premiums, deductibles and out-of-pocket costs to be beyond what they
can pay. Without WGMC, they might choose
to let their medical and dental needs go untreated,” said Shawn West, WGMC
Executive Director. Every year this event is highly
anticipated by all previous attendees, this is your chance to join in on the
fun and help support a very noble cause.
In addition to medical and dental
care, the Clinic will provide a number of programs this summer that will be
free to the residents of Will and Grundy counties. Some of those community outreach programs
include Zumba and Salsacize exercise classes, Healthy Eating and Nutrition Counseling, and Diabetes Management Education. The Clinic relies solely on the
generosity of our donors, and on average, provides $20 of care for every $1
donated. Please consider golfing,
