Wilmington Cyberstalker 'Posted Nude Photos Of Me, Stated I Was A Sex Worker': Victim Petitions Judge
Jermaine Hubbard, 30, comes from the Plainfield area, but the Wilmington police Department had him arrested on multiple charges.

WILMINGTON, IL — For the fourth time since 2019, 30-year-old Plainfield area resident Jermaine Hubbard finds himself lodged inside the Will County Jail. This week's latest arrest, by the Wilmington Police Department, involves charges of cyberstalking, disorderly conduct and four unlawful violations of an order of protection against Hubbard.
Wilmington booked Hubbard into the jail on Wednesday.
According to his criminal complaint, back on June 20, Hubbard sent an electronic communication to a Wilmington woman informing her he would kill her and take her out.

Back on May 25, the complaint noted, Hubbard made a fake 911 call for the purposes of knowing that there was no reasonable emergency and that by doing so, he could result in the response of various public safety officers. The four other charges involve allegations that Hubbard sent multiple text messages to the female victim as well as in May and June to a certain Wilmington man in his 40s who is also a protected person under her 2024 court-issued order of protection.
The Wilmington woman, at age 29, obtained her original order of protection from the Will County's judges back in 2024 and her petition indicated that she and Hubbard, then 28, had been boyfriend and girlfriend.

According to her filing, back on September 13, 2024, "I was riding my bike with my dog. I stopped to fix his leash. I heard a man's voice. When I looked up, it was Jermaine. He tried to grab me. I ran. He got in his car and hit me with his car and tried to take my dog and my phone. He threw his drink at me and took off."
The Wilmington's woman's no-stalking petition revealed that "I called police. Later that night, he came to my boyfriend's home where I was and popped three tires on my car and went on the porch and popped my bike tires. This is at my boyfriend's house; he stalked me and found me at his house.
"Jermaine called me multiple times while I was in front of police, police heard Jermaine's threats towards me and my boyfriend. I do not feel safe. I fear he is going to severely hurt me."
The woman's order of protection goes on to further explain, "while I had an active order of protection, Jermaine created Facebook accounts where he posted nude images of me. He posted the front of my house and stated I was a sex worker."
These days, Hubbard comes from the 1900 block of Plainfield's Westmore Grove Drive. His court hearing was set for Thursday afternoon at the Will County Courthouse.
