WILMINGTON, IL — A 37-year-old Wilmington resident, Rocky Keane, is no longer in the Will County Jail in connection with last week's stabbing outside The Corner Tap.

Keane, who comes from the 100 block of North East Street, posted the necessary 10 percent of his $50,000 bail to regain his freedom. His stabbing victim suffered at least two knife wounds to his chest, according to the Wilmington Police Department's detective unit.

Court records indicate Keane's out of town mother posted his bond. As part of that bond, Keane has been ordered by a Will County judge to have no contact with the Wilmington stabbing victim.

Keane's next appearance at the Will County Courthouse is set for Aug. 23 at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 405 of Judge Dave Carlson.
