Woman Choked Near County Line Road, Plainfield Area Man Jailed: JPD
Joliet police responded to the subdivision in the 7000 block of Mojave Court for Friday afternoon's domestic disturbance.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police arrested a 48-year-old man who lives near County Line Road on charges of aggravated domestic battery after officers say Terrance Covington choked a woman with both of his hands on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2:15 p.m. in the 7000 block of Mojave Court, which is where Covington resides. Joliet police say Covington attacked a woman who lives in his house.
"During an argument, Covington became angry and choked the victim with both hands, causing her to have difficulty in breathing," Joliet police announced.

Police said the victim refused medical assistance, and Covington was placed into custody without incident on Saturday at the residence around 3:45 p.m.
Covington's bail was set at $5,000, and he was released from the Will County Jail around 11 a.m. Sunday after posting the necessary 10 percent for bond.
