Woman Dies At Joliet's Autobahn Country Club
The Will County Coroner's Office said an autopsy is set for Sunday.

JOLIET, IL - An out of state woman died this weekend in Joliet after a motorcycle crash at the Autobahn Country Club race track in Joliet. The Will County Coroner's Office announced on Sunday that the 28-year-old victim, Angela Van Horn, of Mississippi, was rushed to St. Joe's hospital and pronounced dead in the emergency room around 11:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4. The coroner's staff said Van Horn was killed after being involved in a multiple motorcycle wreck at the racing track in Joliet out toward Elwood.
The Joliet Police Department is investigating the fatality, the coroner's office said.
According to the Autobahn Club's website, the racing facility in Joliet at 3795 CenterPoint Way consists of a "nearly four mile race track with two different layouts by a renowned designer. Accompanying this is a go kart track, skidpad, rallycourse and off-road trail to accommodate any automotive goal."

Autobahn notes that it has 350 acres and is home to three challenging road courses including the 3.56 mile track.
